What a week!

What a week it has been.  Nice weather, cold weather, rain and flooding!  School was actually closed for a day this week because of flooding - buses could not operate.  It has been a weird spring - it still feels like it should be March - weather wise - it is chilly and cold though today at least the sun is shining.  We get a warm day or two and then the temperatures drop again and it is cloudy and gray.  I am looking forward to nicer, more normal spring days.  It is the middle of April after all.

I spent my school spring break visiting my mother on Cape Cod.  My brother and family were there as well.  It was a pleasant week with sunny days though chilly.  We drove out to the National Seashore one day to look at the erosion of the beaches after all of the recent storms.  I also did a little clothes shopping and found a dress to wear to John's and Sasha's wedding.   Learned how to play Mexican Train, a game my brother and family like to play.  I lost both games I played but at least I got better.

It is now just a little over 2 months until the wedding.  Preparations are seriously underway.  I believe the girls have now found their dresses.  Invitations are ready and will be mailed out in a week or so.  Final details are being worked out.   John and Sasha have created a wedding website and here is the link - Sasha and John.  Watch for more updates.
